From creative uses of promoted products to developing large-scale content programs, the Strategist is relied on to come up with big ideas that meet objectives and help brands innovate in new and exciting ways. A creative and critical thinker, our Strategists think big and execute small, establishing lasting relationships with brands becoming a cornerstone to their marketing operations.

Our Strategists help grow projects alongside designers, developers and producers. They love to research, roadmap ideas and fight for the best approach from UX to content strategy to feature sets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative concepts that are actionable and meet brand and business objectives
  • Represent The Program in client and agency settings, as well as industry events
  • Effectively work cross-functionally, building relationships with internal and client teams
  • Identify new business and growth opportunities within The Program brand partners
  • Listen, absorb, then give insight and direction
  • Think big, execute small, do both quickly
  • Help the team see a clear path and move them forward
  • Go deep with details, formulating comprehensive plans with KPI’s for measurement
  • Ability to communicate at a high level with clients, design, content, writing and tech
  • Interest in learning new things
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Work closely with brands by providing innovative solutions for strategic accounts that help grow the business and align with project goals and objectives
  • Lead ideation and brainstorming sessions to help crystallize challenging goals into actionable solutions
  • Ability to digest analytics and insights to impact a strategic approach

Qualifications

  • 3+ Years of relevant, strategy experience
  • Highly creative, imaginative, and passionate about our brand partner’s products and services
  • Ability to adhere to and work within brand voice guidelines
  • Ability to ensure quality and details are consistent across all deliverables
  • Self-starter with proven interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback throughout all creative phases
  • Demonstrate leadership, teamwork and a positive, can-do attitude
  • Thrive in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and seize the opportunity to make a difference
  • Ping Pong experience preferred (paddles provided)

Details

This is an in-house position working from our studio in SE Portland. Salary is competitive based on experience. The Program provides a competitive benefit package that includes paid holidays, vacation/personal time, 401k matching and health/dental/vision insurance. Relocation package available if applicable.

Producer

Our producers possess an innate ability to navigate creative, technology and client relationship needs. They own the project process, ensuring no detail goes unnoticed and untouched. They are solely dedicated to the success of every project, representing an agency cornerstone.

Our most important assets are people and the relationships we build. As a Digital Producer, we trust you to manage these relationships, delivering quality work under tough constraints with a positive outlook. Producers are responsible for complex, digital and highly technical products and projects. You will help produce technical requirements and documentation, oversee timelines, budgets and resources while motivating teams, and managing relationships with confidence.

Please note: This is not a film-making or content production role.

Responsibilities

  • Direct client and project deliverables, strategic requirements and explain complex ideas clearly, and confidently.
  • Manage expectations against reality.
  • Oversee multiple, concurrent projects and project teams, including designers, engineers, quality assurance and third-party vendors.
  • Work in an independent fashion, solve problems, make decisions, and communicate effectively in difficult situations.
  • Work closely with strategy and technology teams in the development of new business, including scoping and estimating new projects.
  • An innate ability to motivate teams in a smooth, organized manner, promoting urgency without panic, confident direction over indecision.
  • Effective presentation and communication skills.

  • Perform project administration such as component production status, schedules, resource requests, budget management and reporting, ensure quality control with the proofing and QA departments, determine and monitor resource requirements and issues.
